Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
– 2 cups packed light brown sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the butterscotch chips.
5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
