Ingredients:
For the Donuts:
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/3 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup whole milk
– 1 large egg
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cheesecake Filling:
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup powdered sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Filling:
– 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Whipped Cream Topping:
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a donut pan.
To make the Donuts:
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
4. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts spring back when lightly pressed. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
To make the Cheesecake Filling:
5. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
To make the Strawberry Filling:
6. In a small bowl, mix the chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes to release the juices.
To make the Whipped Cream Topping:
7. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
To Assemble:
8. Slice each donut in half horizontally. Spread a layer of cheesecake filling on the bottom half of each donut.
9. Spoon some strawberry filling over the cheesecake layer, then place the top half of the donut on top.
10. Add a dollop of whipped cream and additional strawberry filling on top of the stacked donut. Repeat with remaining donuts.
