Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish or springform pan to form a crust.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and melted.
7. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the cheesecake, using a spoon to create a swirl pattern.
8. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until set.
9. Slice, serve, and enjoy the creamy chocolate goodness!
