Broccoli and cauliflower Salad

Ingredients:
– 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped
– 3 cups cauliflower florets, chopped
– 1/2 cup red onion, diced
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
– 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)

For the Dressing:
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, red onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds if using.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss until evenly coated.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
