Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
1 tablespoon cinnamon (for rolling)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, butter, and sugar until smooth.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
6. Using a spoon, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
7. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
8. Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
